A First

So the other night my other half and I were sitting on the floor, tucked up under the kotatsu and I felt this wobble. At first I thought he was moving the table but when I looked over he was looking at me like he thought I was the doing the same thing. We had that look that lasted a second then looked up to see if the light switch was swinging but it wasn't, then at the same time we both asked 'Was that an earthquake?'

I checked on the JMA website and low and behold there was one!!! It was only a 1 on the scale so I don't think we would have felt it if we hadn't been sitting on the floor, but there was a little panic as it was our first experience having an earthquake.  

It was defiantly a strange sensation as it was a wobble back and forth but I did feel a little dizzy afterwards!!

At least it was just a little one to to have as my first and not a mega one, I need to get an emergency bag packed and sorted now.
