The Countdown has Begun!

So, this is the first post, but it's probably the most important as it is commencing the countdown for myself and my other half (boyf) getting on a jet plane and heading to Japan!

To say that it has all been a bit of a rollercoaster in getting here would be an understatement but I can't wait! 

I can't wait to land and start seeing all the wonderful places, food, culture and cars that I have been dreaming about for years now.  I don't deny that there will and definitely be a culture shock at some point  - maybe not in the first week or the first month but at some point it will hit me and will knock the wind out of me, but surely that it always just part of the experience in living in another country?

Well this time next week I will be travelling at 35’000ft knocking back a few vodkas to keep the nerves at bay.
